ABLATIVE AND COAGULATIVE EFFECT
COMBINED IN A SINGLE SHOT

Unlike most 2,940-nm Er:YAG LASERs, which offer only single-shot, short or long pulse times, DualMode® combines short and long type pulses in a single shot. The advantage is to simulate the effect of a CO² LASER: ablative effect, which pierces the tissue, but able to create adjacent residual thermal damage in order to stimulate collagen contraction through the beam coagulative effect.
