The confocal microscopy image demonstrates the high precision of the top hat profile MLA optical microfractionation in the formation of the LIOBs (LASER-Induced Optical Breakdown) of the handPICO®.

89 LIOBs were found in the analyzed area (0.5 x 0.5 mm), with size of approximately 45 μm in diameter at the dermal-epidermal junction, compatible with LIOBs specifications found in scientific articles.
